Born Pretty Review

It's review time! This time I'm reviewing a stamping plate I received from Born Pretty Store and I am so excited to share it with you. I love stamping plates! They've always been great for a quick mani but they're turning into something more and more versatile with different stamping techniques. Today's design used some reverse stamping along with regular stamping and I am thrilled with the results!

*I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

This is BP11 which you can find here. The plate has four large radiating designs and four small coordinating designs. I used the large radiating hears and the small cluster of hearts on the right for today's mani but I have tried out some of the other images.

Let's start with the polishes I used. The stamping is done with Sally Hansen Black Heart. The green is OPI My Gecko Does Tricks, the blue is Julep India, and the glitter is Pure Ice Watch Me Go. I started with a base of My Gecko Does Tricks on every nail except my thumb, on which I used India. I topped my pinky with two coats of Watch Me Go. I created a gradient on my index and ring finger. Using reverse stamping, I made a decal with the large heart image and colored in each section with a small nail art brush. I placed the decal on my middle finger and added a large gold heart stud. I stamped the small heart cluster on my ring finger.

You may notice that the smallest heart in the cluster is missing. That is the only image I've had issues with on the plate. That tiny heart doesn't seem to be etched quite deep enough. I tried a few times but couldn't get the heart to completely transfer to the stamper. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Just like the other Born Pretty stamping plate I have, this plate is wonderful. The images are crisp and they look great on the nail!
