Born Pretty Review

I love stamping. But I really struggle with it sometimes. My main problems have always been getting images straight/centered and not screwing images up when "rolling" the stamper. Well, today I'm reviewing a Born Pretty Store product that will potentially alleviate both of those problems.

*I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

This is one of those clear jelly stampers that are just EVERYWHERE right now. Check it out here. It has a large stamping head that is both clear and very squishy. The barrel of the stamper is also clear. This means that you can clearly see the image you are stamping through the stamper to assure good alignment on the nail or surface you are stamping. It also comes with a plastic scraper.

The photo to the right is of the Born Pretty scraper next to my Konad stamper for size reference. The plastic stamper is just larger than the size of a standard credit card. I have used plastic scrapers before and they've been pretty hit or miss. This one is excellent and is now my go-to.
The photo on the left is of the Born Pretty stamper next to my Konad double-ended stamper. The jelly stamper head is about one and a half times the size of the larger side of the Konad stamper. Length-wise it is a bit shorter but it is much wider. This stamper is AMAZING! It picks up images like a dream and is so squishy that you don't have to roll it to transfer images. You can stamp the entire design at once.

For this design I used Julep Rebel as the base. I did the stamping in Kleancolor Metallic Black. I chose two images from Pueen 55. I specifically chose an image with finer details and one with large details to show how well this stamper works. I really love it!

One more thing to know about the stamper. You should not use acetone or nail polish remover to clean it. Over time, this will cloud the silicone and make it less see-through. You should remove nail polish with tape or, as I do, with a sticky lint roller. I keep one with my nail art supplies as I also use it to clean up glitter and clear my nail art mat.
