Born Pretty Review

It's time for my first Bornprettystore.com review of 2017! And I'm really digging this one!

*I Received this product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

Today I'm reviewing this holographic glitter powder. There are six color options to choose from. It's $2.99 for a 10ml bottle which is a great deal considering how long this will last you. The bottle makes this incredibly easy to use.

I wanted a base color to match the glitter just because I wasn't sure of the opacity I would be able to get. I used Julep Olivia. (I don't use gel polishes. You may get a different result with gels.) When the polish was mostly dry but still a bit tacky, I applied the glitter powder. Once I got the coverage I wanted, I used a quick-dry top coat.

I did find this to be a thirsty glitter; even after two coats of top coat, it wasn't 100% smooth. This probably won't be a problem for anyone using a gel top coat. This glitter powder is quite fine but it isn't as fine as the chrome and holo powders that are all over the place. The holo effect is very strong when in direct lighting but fairly dull when it isn't. It's very pretty, though, and super easy to use; the bottle and nozzle make it so convenient.
